How do I send unique referral links to team-members?

50skills allows you to send a unique shareable referral link to all members of any public group you have on Slack.

How to get started?

Click any open job position you have. In the far right tab, click "Apps." Under Apps, select any public channel you want to send to, and make sure "Send Private Message" is selected.

When you click Submit, the 50skills Slackbot will send anyone who is part of that channel a private message with a unique link they can share on social media.

All your co-workers need to do at this point is to copy the link and share it where they like, in private messages, emails, or social media.

Whenever someone applies through a link that your employers shared, a blue "sourced" icon will appear next to their name.

By clicking the application, you can see through which employee link the applicant applied.

Under the statistics page, you can also see how many candidates applied through sourced employee links compared to other sources.

My Slack integration isn't working! What to do?

  • Ensure that users you add on Slack have the same email as the users you add to 50skills. (If you have different domain endings, e.g., through AD users, we can solve this, send us a message.

  • Our Slack integration is still in beta and work in progress. If you have any further issues with it, please send us a message, and we will look into it!
